If that is the case I will die a very rich man.

My husband and I (after 100 plus days it still feels weird) just started our new adventure to Morocco, Portugal, and then capping the trip with a short visit to Jim(our ring boy) in southern England.

Our travels today will take us to Newark and then off to Lisbon.

Our flight from LA on United left the gate on time only to quickly learned that Newark had put a hold on our take-off time due to high winds so we were delayed exactly 64 minutes, not too worry we had plenty of time to make our connection.  After all the years of traveling, I make sure that any international connection includes a minimum of 3 hours between flights.

We had a smooth flight except for the last 45 minutes prior to landing in Newark, and it was a rough landing, they were not kidding about the high winds.

Killed time at the Republican Club as my friend Sharon calls the Airport Lounge.

First time flying TAP Portugal, great service, great wine list but the business class seats were designed by the founder of “the Inquisition” not fully flat more like a 180 degrees angle and both seating and the reclining position was an exercise in discomfort, needless to say, sleep was hard to come by and the angle of the video screen made it for a sore neck.

Wonder what were the economy seats like?

The flight across the Atlantic was a smooth as silk.

Another long layover before we continue to Casablanca- will we have time to go to Ricks Cafe and ask Sam “play it again”
